Sesame & hoisin chicken wrap

Sesame & hoisin chicken wrap

Lee Kum Kee have just launched new sauce kits to help bring new delicious, umami flavours to your cooking at home. The kit is not only very cute, perfect for gift giving (I feel like the perfect moving house prezzie or a treat to yourself, or a friend) but also comes with a recipe booklet so if you’re not giving my chicken wraps a go, you can try something else! Great for home cooks - like me - and experienced chefs alike. Use my code for ££ off: LKKGEMMA20

Ingredients: (makes 2 wraps)
1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee hoisin sauce
1 tsp Lee Kum Kee sesame oil
1 chicken breast, diced
2 tortillas (for wrapping)
⅓ carrot, grated
¼ cabbage, grated
1 large spring onion, julienned
4 lettuce leaves
1 tbsp peanuts, chopped finely

Method:
Toss chicken in hoisin sauce and sesame oil. Fry lightly until cooked. Lay out wrap, then layer cabbage, carrot, spring onion, peanuts, cooked chicken, lettuce leaves (half in each tortilla) and fold as in video. Double layer wrap if you like (or if your wraps are a little messy). Serve with some hoisin sauce on the side!

I love Lee Kum Kee’s sauces, with the hoisin and sesame probably now becoming my most frequently reached for from the kit. The sauces in the kit work for dipping, but also marinating or dressing food with. Pretty versatile set that I definitely recommend getting your hands on!
