Easy steak stir fry with soy sauce

Easy steak stir fry with soy sauce

Have you ever just sliced through something so smoothly that it felt effortless? Well that’s what I did last week to my fingernail 🥴 but on the real, I was kindly invited to a knife skills class 🙌🏼 where we used some beautiful @furi.official knives with @ellieskitchenuk as our guide!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We made three dishes, super simple and that you can easily make at home! My favorite was the shrimp & glass noodle rice roll but would have loved to try it with beef or the beef stir fry 🤪 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s how I make a simple beef stir fry at home...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients:
- @sainsburys crispy & crunchy veggie mix or - chopped cabbage
- carrots
- broccoli
- bell peppers - green onion
all veg into strips (except the broccoli which you can just cut up real small) really get as many as you think you’ll want, I like half a broccoli, and two carrots, ¼ cabbage and 2 peppers so you can see my veggie preference, but it’s up to you!
- 2 beef 🥩 flank steak or any type of thin steak can work as long as you chop it into thin strips (about half an inch to an inch wide)
- bean sprouts (to throw in later with the sliced green onion)
- soy sauce
- salt
- pepper
- honey
- coconut oil - chopped garlic or garlic powder for ease - sweet chili sauce to spice thangs up
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How to:
- melt coconut oil in your pan and add garlic (if chopped) 🥥
- add in the beef and cook for a quick minute, toss in pinch of salt, pinch of pepper & a generous amount of garlic powder (if you didn’t have garlic added before) - pour in your veg (minus the bean sprouts and the green onion) and cook for a couple more mins — it’s a super speedy cooking time because the beef will be ready quickly, you can now add sweet chili sauce if you want (as saucy as you like) 💦
- a minute before you’re ready to serve, add in the green onion & bean sprouts (I add them in at the end because I like them crunchy)
- SERVE! this is hot and ready really quickly, so don’t leave the beef in too long🥩

I’ve been liking my stir fry lately with egg noodles which I buy dry from @sainsburys and then just boil until al dente ✨ how do you make your stir fry?
