Easiest simple baked chicken tenders

Easiest simple baked chicken tenders 🍗 recipe:

This is the most basic and easy chicken tenders, spice them as you like, bake and enjoy with condiments of your choice! Great for on their own, wraps or on top of salad! For air fryer version, check out my panko air fryer chicken tenders recipe!

Ingredients:
400g chicken breast mini fillets
1 ½ cup golden breadcrumbs (not panko)
1 cup flour
1 pinch salt
2 medium eggs
1 large splash milk (I used oat milk)
+ pepper / spices as you prefer and olive oil for cooking

Preheat oven to 200c fan. Whisk together egg and milk. Place salted flour and breadcrumbs in separate bowls. Pat your chicken dry, dunk into flour mixture first, then egg/milk, then breadcrumbs. Place on parchment paper on a baking tray and spray with olive oil on both sides until lightly covered. Place in the oven for about 7-9 mins each side, but the timings will depend on the size of your tenders and your oven, so once you flip them, keep an eye on them and when in doubt, take them out and check. You want them to be lightly golden browned and juicy, but cooked through.

I like to add Italian herbs, or some fajita spices to my mix but this is the basics for super easy chicken tenders with less grease and oil that frying. Cut them smaller and make them chicken nuggets and bake for less time.
